Don Dunphy (b. 1911) was the announcer for the "Gillette Calvacade Of Sports" radio show from 1941 to 1960. He was also the ringside commentator for "Fight Of The Week" from 1960 to 1964. Considered "The Voice Of Boxing," he has called some of the most famous fights in ring history including, Louis-Conn, Zale-Graziano, Basilio-Robinson, Pep-Saddler, and Ali-Frazier. Did you know? Don Dunphy was the 1970 recipient of the James J. Walker Memorial Award for long and meritorious service in boxing.
