A very rare grouping of vintage original photos pertaining to the Jack Johnson-"Fireman" Jim Flynn heavyweight championship contest... This was the second meeting between the two on July 4, 1912 in Las Vegas, New Mexico... State Police Captain Fornoff would enter the ring in the 9th and stop the fight due to Flynn's repeated fouling/headbutting of Johnson... All images show great contrast and clarity!!
