condition is fine... Nice clear image of a 21 yr. old Joe Louis

BOOKS
Joe rarely misses a game (baseball) featuring his hometown favorites,
the Detroit Tigers, if he can help it. Horseback riding comes a close
second on Louis' list of hobbies. The Brown Bomber owns an enormous
ranch in Michigan. He breeds horses there and owns a small circular
track for riding purposes. His love for horses was so great that he was
the happiest man in the world when the Army assigned him to the cavalry
at Fort Riley, Kansas, when he enlisted in 1942.
