This vintage press photo shows newly crowned heavyweight champion Rocky Marciano raising arms in victory after having just knocked out Jersey Joe Walcott for the title... The image is dated September 24, 1952 and was used by the United States Postal Service to produce the 33-cent Rocky Marciano stamp which was released on May 27, 1999... A very clear and significant photograph!!
